Established in 1993, Acro-Asia
Resources Pte Ltd (AAR) started as an equipment supplier
primarily to the trade specialists in the landscape and
leisure water industries.
AAR has since evolved to become one
of the major distributors of quality aquarium, pets and
garden brands and products in Singapore.
AAR Aquarium & Pets Division works closely with the
retailers and related trade professionals such as vets
and breeders to promote and educate the general public
on the merits of the various brands and products that
we represent.
AAR is focused on the building of selected brand names
and the distribution of their products for long-term sales
growth. AAR is different from most 'distributors' as we
does not retail directly to the consumer.
Because of this, AAR offers reputable manufacturers the
most cost-effective way to enter a new market. AAR determines
the brand positioning and pricing strategy. AAR also plans
promotional campaigns such as loyalty programs and is
able to implement such plans through its established network
of distribution channels.
AAR differentiates itself from its competitors by being
able to meet the customers' needs in the shortest possible
time. To achieve this, AAR has a dependable and responsive
sales team who are backed up by its logistic support team.
To support its sales staff, AAR invested in information
technology to maintains an optimum level of the fastest
moving stocks in its own warehousing.
Outside Singapore, AAR has been active in Malaysia with
customers and contacts that were built up over the years.
In order to serve our Malaysian customers better, Acro-Asia
Resources (M) Sdn Bhd (ARM) was formally set up in Kuala
Lumpur in 2000.
AAR also source for products at our overseas clients'
requests and re-exports to several countries within the
region such as Indonesia and Vietnam as well as to other
parts of Asia and the Middle East.
AAR in Singapore with ARM in Malaysia is well positioned
to act as the regional representative office for selected
manufacturers who want to extend their reach in the region
and beyond South-East Asia.
